4/23/02 Took photos of the interior Put the '62 merc on the motor mount to check the operation. The motor does not tilt-lock in the raided motor mount position. This could explain the rope that was going from the rail to the motor mount . There is a fitting to the port of motor mount, that would make a good mount point for a swim ladder, but is proably used for the backstay adjuster. It would be good to talk to the previous owners. I wonder if they can be bribed to come to duluth. Also Paul R would be an advantage to have in the prep. Also, washed out cockpit , and cleared starboard sucpper with water pressure.  Port inboard jib track may be source of midship creak on deck. Should be removed, resealed, replaced. Starboard scupper needs fiberglass repair in cockpit. Also, figure out what is going on with rubber boot in bilge. Cabin lining needs to be replaced with? electrical system could be replaced. Batteries needed for testing.
